The North and the South, but that was long time ago.... not sure I would like it today.
I don't know if it really counts as a mini-series, but I loved Tin Man.
I don't remember the name of it...I always just called it the 60s movie. Julia Styles was in it, and it pretty much hit all the big news stories from the late 60s and how they transformed one family.
