I couldn't agree more with you. I tivo American Idol and when paula abdul is talking, I fast forward her, I only listen to Simon's opinion and I always agree with him.
Simon is NOT "always right"...many of the people he booted went on to successful careers in spite of him

It is a show for entertainment. Doesn't bother me if either one of them want to act goofy. Simon is usually right on his music knowledge but often acts like an idiot, too. Even with his lingo, Randy Jackson is the sanest one on the show!

As Simon said himself, those are only his opinions. They are, however, opinions I typically agree with. I think it's a tough call which of those two are lamer. Paula does seem better this year at stringing a four word sentence together.
