Question: of the original song where those people who are defending kristys country speed version, can hear what the original version by the original artist sounds like. I figure if they hear how it was intended to sound, then they would get a clearer understanding of what simon and all of us true beatles fans was talking about. when simon said she sounded like she was dolly parton on helium. so if there is a link where one could hear a sample of this song please post it. thankyou. I wouldn't call myself a Beatles expert but I know that song and I know what she did to it was utterly horrific. I thought I was on Hee Haw for a second.

I don't think the song sucked... I just never want to hear it againt. I'm a Beatle purist so to me that entire show last night was like shooting myself in the head
I half expected a square dance to break out in the crowd before it was over.
This was Beatles Songs....not Country Night. Is it too much to ask that people stick to the genre they are assigned to?
