I think people from all seasons were good not just this one but yes on this one I could see idols that are rocking out the nation, especially that young david, he is gorgeous and can sing.I love American Idol.
No Way! They just tell the viewers that crap (every week) to hopefully brain wash you into believeing it. I think their is little if any talent. I do like David Cook and sometimes Jason Castro, but I don't think this is the best season. I really liked last season... (remember sanjaya? Yeap, he was awesome)
Ramiele Malubay, the problem with her is the song she sang do not click with the judges.
Could be but time will tell. Yesterday wasn't as good as previous weeks. There's a uniqueness to this season that I like. I get tired, so freaking tired of Celine/Whitney songs.
This year it's a bunch of professional singers competing, which I suppose is fine ... because that's what it's all about.
But it's kind of a drag.
And I hope the person who sad, "especially Sanjaya" was joking. Because ... ugh. Disgusting. You must be a deafy.

No two contestants are alike, and I appreciate that. So in terms of talent, I would say I like the top 12 this season more then previous seasons.

Yes and no. The big bonus this year is we do not have to suffer through Sanjaya. Still stands the hairs on my neck thinking about that voice. UGH. But we do have some exceptional talen this year. You can already see who the leaders are going to be and who will be going home. There are a few originals this year...David C, Jason, Brooke and Carly. There is your top 4. Top 2..I am thinking Carly and David C.

They think the more they say it, the more the sheeple will start to believe it and therefore tune in to the show. What a joke. Season 4, and season 5 was better.
I think there are a few singers, both male and female, that are the best talent AI has had in 7 seasons..

I agree with a previous answer. Daughtry, Elliott and McPhee was a great season. LOVE Daughtry and Elliott and McPhee's Over the Rainbow was astounding. This season is good- not the best.
