Question: Did you see David Archuleta forget the words last night. =( I felt so bad for him because he was underalot of pressure and he didnt know any of the songs . Oh well he has a big fan base that will get him through right?

i know i felt bad for him also! he is such a cutie && a great singer! I think he just felt overwhelmed! awww but im sure he will be back next week!!
I think David A is a doll and it was hard to see him screw up last night. I think his nerves got the best of him. Yes, last week was good, but...David Cook took it last week. He was amazing, so was jason. This week, the same two, as well as checzy (sorry, don't know how he spells his name) really rocked it. Hopefully the gravelly voiced Amada goes away.
I missed that part but hopefully that proves Archie isn't as great as everyone thinks.
I thought it was really, really, funny. Mainly because I'm not a fan of his. Though, I liked his version of waiting for the world to change in the auditions.
I think his age may have gotten the best of him last night. As good as he has been so far, he is the youngest guy and there has to be a lot of pressure as you say.
His fan base will get him through (for now) - my guess is that Kristy Lee will be going home this week.
He's not my favorite but I think he has an amazing singing voice. He'll make through to the next round. I also enjoyed when he sang "Heaven."
Whatever!! How was he under anymore pressure than any of the other contestants? And since the judges have pretty much stated that the sun shines out of his butt one would deduce that he was actually under LESS pressure last night!
He is held to the same standard as all of the other contestants and I don't feel the least bit sorry for him.

They are all under pressure. They are all too young to have been Beatles fans back in the day like I was. I was glad to see he's human.
to be perfectly honest, I don't feel bad for him. Yes he's only 17 and blah blah, but c'mon! Like I said in my question: alot of the other contestants was not familiar with Beatles songs, and they all managed to remember the lyrics!
...and how crazy is it that Chikezie blew everyone away last night -including David!?
But David has a huge tween following, so he's not going anywhere anytime soon.

I am actually glad it happened because although I think he is a decent singer, I do not believe he is the best singer and this proved that he is not as good as everyone says he is. Everyone loved his Imagine performance but one performance does not make him a star.
i love him, he's so awkward and cute! i liked when he sang imagine the best!
