Is it possible that AJ (ALAN QUARTERMAINE, JR) on GENERAL HOSPITAL could be brou!

Question: I truly believe that Monica Quartermaine of GENERAL HOSPITAL is on the verge of a complete nervous breakdown. Now that it has been resolved as to who the text message killer is, I say this: Let the writers bring back AJ, possibly with a recast actor (once again); and save Monica from her pending total nervous collapse. Who better than AJ, whose throes with alcoholism were ever-present while on the drama, to rescue his mom from completely destroying her life, as well as from Liz and Jason, who is out to protect Liz from blame in Sam's accident and shift the blame to Monica. Add Tracey's garbage to all; and Monica might end up in the looney bin, not just from substance abuse but due to a nervous breakdown. AJ's return simply could be explained as a case of mistaken identity, a look-a-like ("double") driving AJ's car and actually killed in an accident in which the double was the one driving under the influence. Look at ALL MY CHILDREN and the Jesse storyline of late.

yeah, monica has no one now... poor lady

ok this is a soap opera...anyone can come back from the dead...even if you saw them get their face blown off....they can come back to life with a new face...by some new miracle drug that kept them alive till their new face was grown in a petrie dish....

I sure hope so! I always liked AJ and he always got a bad wrap! Sure he did lots wrong but he wasn't beyond redeemable! Monica needs her boys, and with the apology that Jason gave to his grave there is potential for new relationship with them.

anythings possible.

he was brought back from the dead before, right?? if he has, i dont think they would do it again.. Once is OK, but twice would be pushing it.

I have been thinking this for awhile I actually thought initially that the TMK could be A.J. but we see how the turned out.
But, he could come back especially with the direction they are taking Michael's storyline. He may even come back as the same actor. Since the guy who played him was on Y&R for a while but has recently left. Hmm...

I think that it would be pushing the limits to far if they were to bring AJ back from the dead a second time. Monica needs to realize that Jason is her son and loves her very much and stop blaming him because Allen, Emily, and AJ are gone and I do believe that she will realize it when everyone in Portcharles finds out about liz having his baby and it will also help her to know she has a grandchild to get her sober

it's a soap so its always possible. isnt it appalling that jason would rather have his mother be guilty of a hit and run than a woman he thinks he love yet she cant accept his life style or him for the person he is, or let him raise his child or decide that she wanted to be with him despite it all. jason disgusts me.

We are talking about a soap opera that brought back Nik Cassadine's dad after he had been beheaded by Luke Spencer. A show that had Robin Scorpio talking to an extraterrestrial alien. A show where the Cassadine's once attempted to freeze the entire planet. Obviously a simple death by car accident can be explained. But I dont see it happening. I enjoyed Billy Warlock's portrayal of AJ and I always thought he got screwed out of having Michael. In retrospect now, Michael may have been better off with AJ rather than growing up a Corinthos.

A.J. was a "waste case"!! There was nothing "likable" about the character. Now Monica is the shows resident alcoholic, so what!? Why would they need that "LOSER"!? Monica is in dire need of a "Cranial-Rectal Resection"!
In other words, she needs to get her head out of her @$$!!!!

i heard they were getting rid of Monica

No, he's dead, and staying that way.

I'm sick of the writers bringing people back from the dead. And I especially don't want A.J. to come back.

They have already been down that road with AJ. He needs to remain dead. I hate when soaps bring people back to life. I think once Monica realizes that she has a new grandbaby (Jake) and that Jason loves her she may not be so miserable although she will still be an alcoholic. She needs to get herself into rehab.

Anything is possible on a soap. They already brought AJ back from the dead once. Why not do it again?

Truthfully, I would rather see more of Alan. Maybe, instead of having ghost Alan haunt Tracy, he can take a break and haunt Monica for awhile? Alan also dealt w/addiction, so he would understand what she is going through. And it would be touching to watch the 2 of them interact again. They were always such a joy to watch on screen together. I think feeling close to Alan again would bring Monica some peace, and she would be able to deal w/her addiction better.

But, bringing back AJ would be fun. He could cause a lot of mischief. ;-)
