Does anyone else think that Jon from "Jon and Kate plus 8" is totally !
Question: Kate never misses an opportunity to point out whatever faults she perceives he has, but he seems to me to be a devoted and caring father. I think she needs a MAJOR attitude adjustment. Or do you think that's just a schtick to make the show more entertaining?

I think she's really mean to him sometimes, but I think it's just the stress and the fact that she's dealing with 8 kids most of the time. Maybe she tends to talk to him in a different way sometimes cuz she's used to talking to the kids. Overall, though, they are obviously a great couple. They are both wonderful parents, and wonderful people in general, and they've stuck together through everything. I think Kate is overwhelming sometimes, but Jon just kind of brushes it off. I liked when he found her violin last night and was 'air guitaring' with it while letting her still look for it. It showed that he just knows the way she is, and a lot of times acts like he doesn't let it get to him cuz that's just the way she is, and there's a lot of positive things about her to outweigh that.
I totally agree. I loved that show but she is such a witch. he tries so hard and takes so much crap from her. grr. i wouldnt put up with it and im a chick!
I don't know. Without her manic organization and direction, it seems like there would be constant chaos in that house. She manages to keep the kids half-way organized, which is very impressive.
I too noticed the same thing. especially when she got mad at him in the toy store when they were Christmas shopping. I mean I know you can get frustrated but why embarrass him in front of everyone in the store and everyone who is watching the show. She needs to watch the show and see how she treats him and see how rude she looks to everyone.
First of all it's a show, and the best way to get ratings is conflict. Whether it's with the children or each other. So I think that it's a little of both. People hate on Kate a lot but you need to remember that she's home with those kids all day by herself, until recently, and organization would be key to keep life going for them. I think that they are both wonderful parents.
I think they work together wonderfully--Jon has said in interviews that he's fine with Kate's bossiness & nagging, so who are we to object??
It is not schtick- Kate is just a b**ch bottom line. My daughter loves that show, but I cannot watch it because she is so mean! She needs to be medicated or something. When they went to Utah, I wanted to jump through the TV and choke her! Remember she was bawling on the plane because she was having a bad day! Poor Kate! That family travels all over the place, and for free I'm sure! Her and Jon seem to get alone time for dinner in Utah and other times. I only have two kids, and my hubby and I get alone time about once a year! Plus, she has a maid too, so I don't have an ounce of sympathy for her!

I think shes does a little just to show off....but as a mom of 3 I know how it is to blame your husband and not the kids.
No. He shows his cultural side quite often when he's pushed too far.
However, Kate IS home all day with 6 toddlers (the twins at least go to school and are out part of the day). But, they are pretty well behaved considering.
