Question: I only watch it the odd time then read a magazine the other week saying she tried to kill herself. Then read another a few week later Aand it said something like '............will end up the same way ruth has' Has she died what was the storyline??

Ahhh! It was so sweet. She was overstretching herself to an incredible extent, and hardly any support whatsoever, either professionally or in her private life. She kept a diary and after beating herself up after a mistake, she went to her room, wrote up her diary and hanged herself. Happily, Abs and whatisname, went to ask her to join them for a drink, found her, cut her down and rushed her into casualty. She was in a coma and on life support for a couple of weeks during which time her diary had been found, and although management tried to hush it up it got reported in the local rag. Things were looking bad for Ruth as she wasn't responding to the various tests, it got round to the final test they would give and she opened her eyes when whatisname, the other trainee doc started reading the diary bits about himself out loud
i think u mean casualty she tried to commit suicide by hanging herself, but the other doctors found her and she survived
This is actually on Casualty. Yes, Dr Ruth Winters hanged herself in her room, but she was rushed to hospital by two of her colleagues, and has been on a respirator for the last few episodes. At the end of last Saturday's episode, she regained consciousness..
