Question: Sometimes it's nice to just put all pretense of intellectualism aside, relax and watch these kids do their best at songs I know and love so much. I have my favorite(s) by now, of course, but I give them all a lot of kudos for getting up there and doing what they do, and making me happy.

I totally agree. .I am glad there is a show on that the entire family can watch and that we all have in common.. We all meaning just about everyone.. IT is encouraging to see their talent and their bravery to get up there and shoot for the stars.. We are all kind of living vicariously through them because they are persueing their dreams like we all wish we could..
I'm more of an America's Best Dance Crew type of girl.

Since you asked-- the entire concept sickens me. It's a flagrant, non-apologetic declaration that actual art no longer means anything to us as as people-- we simply invent our disposable entertainers for the moment.
nah. i havent watched anything this season. its sucked this year. ever since jordin sparks won, *no one* watches it. its not as interesting. no catty drama, lol. antm, girlicious has all that. this year im into

tonight is the 1st night for the season that i have agreed with simon. paula annoys me, she needs to get off whatever meds she's on. the singing is jus ok for now.
