Carrie Underwood is by far my most favorite. She has done so well. I love the beautiful sound of her voice. I really like her songs "Jesus Take The Wheel", "Before He Cheats" and "American Girl". I also love her version of "The National Anthem".

Carrie Underwood by far! I love So Small, All American Girl, and Before He Cheats...next would be Kelly and then Jordin!

Still like Reuben, wish he would have done better. Same for Tamyra Gray, she was awsome.
Ms. Underwood is the best by faaarrrrrr. I like Kelly too, but only some songs.
I like Kelly Clarkson. She is sucessful and a great singer. I also like Carrie Underwood, but I am not much of a country person.
And Jordin Sparks (Tattoo is good)
Carrie and Kelly, but it kind of seems like lately Kelly's songs are so sad sounding.

shes so down to earth, a sweetheart, extremely great singer, amazing voice, really pretty, etc. shes so successful, the most succesful out of all of them i really love those songs u mention and "wasted"
I think American Idol is the biggest musical farce since Milli Vanilli, but I think Carrie and Kelly are amazing, and so is Diana DeGarmo.
Fantasia is a big-lip guppy who only won thru sympathy and Diana DeGarmo shoulda beat her down!

Fantasia moved me the most..her Summertime still makes me cry. Carrie has been the most commercially successful. But I probably have the softest spot in my heart for Ruben
from a career standpoint, it's gotta be kelly clarkson. also love fantasia.
as far as the almost idols go: clay aiken, kimberly locke, jennifer hudson, sanjaya malakar, danny noriega (so sorry), ryan starr, kimberly caldwell.
I really really like them all EXCEPT Taylor Hicks he sucks. Kat Mcphee should have won. I HATE TAYLOR AND THE STUPID "SOUL PATROL, SOUL PATROL" AND I HATE HIS STUPID DANCING" I am happy with all the other winners well I guess not with Jordin I like her but I think Melinda should have won the whole thing.
Chris Daughtry, I know you are referring to the winners, but Chris was the best. He even had the best selling album of 2008. From the list of actual winners definitely Carrie Underwood. Kelly Clarkson to me is the worse, I just don't see her talent.
I like Taylor Hicks the best. I just wish that he would do better than he is doing now.
