Does anyone remember the program called The Siver Sword?!

Question: When i was a little girl i used to rush home from school to watch a program called the siver sword about children running away from the Germans.Does anyone remember it as i seem to be the only one.This is showing my age so this is one for the older end.

I have only read the book, which was on the curriculum for schools in our area in the 70's. Probably the tv prog was made about that time or early 80's.
