Question: anyone else getting majorly peeved by Sonny? i mean hes always selfish but today he was just WAY over board with Jason..sometimes i wish Jason would just walk away from him. Liz had it right, Jason already gave Sonny his life.

Sonny is just turning into a major A * * Hole all the way around.
He's become SO self-centered as if he's the total center of port chuck-----

it was so typically self-serving of Sonny to do what he did behind Kates back w/Claudia and then still want to marry her.
And sorry--if it were MY child who was missing (not to mention showing in interest in guns) I think I would be taking care of all that myself, what kind of father is he anyway? He's gotten to used to everybody else taking care of his kids. HA-and he claims to be such a hands on family man!!!
I'm soooo sick of him treating Jason as if he should have no life of his own...WTF was with that line.."You're acting like a guy who doesn't want to do what he's used to"...MAN---NOT like Jason was saving LIVES or anything!!!
But Sonny gave Jason a life after the car accident.... where would he be without Sonny?
And what happened to Jackie Zeman's face? She is starting to look like Joan Rivers!
I agree any debt Jason had to Sonny for giving him a job after his car accident was paid off long ago.
Jason could have walked away long ago but he didn't they both go through their pissy little moods.
I was shocked by that whole scene. Jason does not owe Sonny anything.... if he ever did! I know they're trying to show what the loss of Michael is doing to Sonny but they may be going too far. I have no sympathy for Sonny anymore.
Jason has long since repaid his debt to Sonny. How many times has he been in the line of fire for Sonny and risked prison, enough already, he doens't owe him a thing!
I totally agree. I was just thinking how the writers are making Sonny. He is so hung-up on Kate he is letting his gaurd down and making everyone hate him. He says it is about his son missing but if Kate had not got shot he would be thinking more clear. Also if Kate had not got shot and his son was not missing he would have never told Jason he should have let the cops deal with Diego. He would have told Jason to kill him. He is just making everything worse.
If it wasn't for sonny jason wouldn't be who he is. And - Elizabeth need to mind her own business when it comes to thing that don't concern her. Or things that she doesn't understand - in jason and sonny's line of business. So - Elizabeth need to keep her nose out of this. Because she is asking for trouble where it doesn't concern her. Plus - sonny is frustrated because he is worried about his son's safety. I can see where his frustration is coming from. But - that frustration is not going to help him find Michael any sooner. And - he still doesn't know tha michael was the one who shot Kate on the pier. Which was an accident. So - i can't wait until he finds out the truth. That Michael ran away because he was scared that his father was going to do to something to him or going to yell at him for playing with the gun.. Which - i think sonny might be for a little while. But - that will not make him stop loving his son. No matter what mistake he had made. Even if it is good or bad.
i agree...sonny hasnt even gave jason time to get out fo the hospital bed and is already pushing...that is totally wrong...sonny treats jason like he dosnt have a life other then the mob scene...i thought they were frinds too not just employee and boss
Yeah, I think Sonny is off his meds. Lately, he's been acting like a lunatic. From kidnapping an innocent guy (which will now start a mob war) to going around buying stupid yellow hats for his hs sweetie while his son is missing,he's just not all there. I think he needs to pay Laney a visit. And while he's at it, he needs to get his priorities straight. For example, you do not disrespect a man who puts his life on the line for you an his family, over and over again (ie: Jason). Jason does pretty much live and breathe to do Sonny's bidding. He really isn't allowed to have a life of his own. A man like that deserves some respect and indulgence.
I think Jason is in very unhealthy and dysfuncional relationshop w/Sonny and he needs to take a break from him. (Yes, I know, I'm making them sound like a couple. But, in a way, they kind of are. LOL.) I've been feeling like there's a chill between the 2 of them lately, and I keep wondering if this means Jason is going to leave Sonny's organization. That would be kind of sad, as Sonny and Jason have been together for so long. Through affairs and divorces and death. I would hate to see them torn apart. But, if Sonny can't get his act together, then he doesn't deserve a friend like Jason.
I'm just hoping that this awful storyline stuff is a result of the writers strike and we are still watching scripts that were done during that. I read somewhere that is what we are seeing currently. If this is so, hopefully the regular writers can turn this around and get everyone back to normal. I'm getting sick of having to accept these lame storylines.
I definetly think Sonny was way out of line!! Him & Jason are supposed to be friends and he basically told him he doesn't care what's wrong with him, he needs to work!? What is the deal? Jason didn't expect Sonny to be at work when he was having his mental breakdown! I hope that this shows Jason that Sonny doesn't really care about him at all & he quits the "coffee importing" and has a family with Elizabeth. Sonny used to be one of my favorite characters, but after today, I'm kinda wishing its him that dies in the explosion!
liz shouldnt have been in the room while they were discussing business. and she had no right to say anything to sonny where that was concerned. its jason decision and if that what he want to do then so be it. and if jason has given his life for the work he does that was also his decision, he loves what he does and he's good at that. liz needs to accept jason as he is or leave him alone. that said sonny has been pissing me off alot lately. i skip almost all of his scenes now.

At first when Liz went off on Sonny I was a little annoyed because it did not seem like something Jason would want her to do. But, when she ended it she made a valid point. And of course Jason owes Sonny nothing he has given him so much. Especially where Sonny's family is concerned. Sonny couldn't even give a damn that Jason may never be able to use his hands again. Sonny is out of control and Jason is right about Michael and Sonny won't even explore the idea. IDIOT!
