Do you get annoyed by all of the little symbols that pop up as you watch TV?!
Question: I was trying to watch a movie last night and part of it had subtitles - unfortunately I missed most of it because the cable channel I was watching had all of these little symbols on the bottom of the screen that covered up the words! I'm watching my local noon news now, and all over the screen are peacock symbols, weather warnings, a clock - it's really annoying! Am I the only one who hates this???

I'm with you. As if we don't get immersed in enough advertising with the five minute commercials every two minutes, they have to stick in some more DURING the show or movie. Yes, its incredibly annoying.

you're trying to watch TV that you pay for, and its being blocked by dumb animations!
it really ticks me off!! Its like um i'm trying to see that thanks move the stupid tv logo, i dont care what chanel it is.

No, you're not the only one. Sometimes it seems like it's taking up half the screen. I guess now that we have TiVo/DVR to fast forward through the commercials, they have to advertise some other way. Hate them.
I do not watch TV at home. I have seen what you re talking about when at other peoples houses and agree that this is way too much. I also have seen p[eople make them go away but do not know how they did that. You might try different things to get them to leave.
I've never seen them....sounds annoying though
