Will Niki Smith be likely to reemerge anytime soon; and if so can she shake thin!
Question: ONE LIFE TO LIVE has several tedious storylines and also several tedious characters right now, one of the most tedious and despicable is Jared Banks, the Buchanan wannabee.
Granted, Viki insists that she is fully and permanently integrated, as to her multiple personalities (which include Niki Smith). However, nothing is ever 100 percent in certainty on daytime dramas.
What I would like to see happen is for Niki Smith to resurface; and for reasons unknown expose Jared Banks as the conniving twerp he is; and, in addition, maybe put Todd in his place for once and for all and maybe bring lovers, young and old, together, sort of playing the role of a maniacal and meddling matchmaker of sorts. Maybe I am just bored with ONE LIFE TO LIVE, though I think my idea might just be the thing to breathe some new life into "...LIVE".

It would be great to see Niki Smith back on the soap. I do miss her and your idea about Jared being exposed would work, but it sounds like from the spoilers he's going to be taped and Natalie's going to hear what he says.
I would love to see Niki put Todd in his place. He needs someone to do it soon!
I agree and disagree with you at the same time. I feel that Niki Smith is so done, I don't want to see her back. Jared is despicable but the story could get really good if Mr. Butler is exposed along with Jared. I love David as the real heir, every family needs a happy guy. Another character that I just can't stand is Jessica. They have her written as a selfish, dishonest, self serving snob. Vicki is a better mother than that.
Todd, oh Todd. He is very driven by his past pain. Todd is very bad but with the exception of on horrible act as a kid with Marty all of his bad actions are a result of pain. I do think he has finally hit bottom because of his actions towards Star, Cole and Marcy and even that baby Tommy/Sam.
Charlie B. is great, Nash and Lindsey, Bo, R.J. there are so many great characters that are just not being utilized and the show has suffered lately.
Lets just keep watching and hope for something good to happen!
I like Niki Smith I think that she has been out for awhile but is using Vicky to see where things are going I base this because when Dorian was dating her ex and Vicky ended in the hospital her eyes told a different story when she was resting after the heart attack that is before she left for Texas it's just the writers haven't start to come out but I think she will start to show some of the spunk sometime soon (I Hope) and it won't take Jared to bring it out it will be Dorian or Tess that will get that flowing again.
I don't think there's any chance of Niki coming back. With the Tess/Jess thing they've really played that to death. Jared will be exposed for what he is and will be forgiven. It won't take Niki to do that. David Vickers will be back soon to claim the Buchanan name.
It would take more than Niki to put Todd in his place. He'll never change, but I'd like to see Ramsey try. He's as much a monster as Todd.
It would be nice for Jared to get what is coming and Niki is the go to girl for revenge but I think we have seen enough alters to last a lifetime here!
I love your idea. I'd love to see Niki return and expose Jared. I wonder, could Niki possibly know what Allison's secret is?

I think they've played that storyline to the hilt. I'd hate to see it come back. I want to see John put an end to Ramsey and Todd. Todd is such a monster. He should be locked up and Ramsey will probably be shot.
