I have just watched and it made me feel so sad for those parents and very upset about the baby.
But I do not think that the childminder is guilty,but then we do not know all the facts and in the end only the childminder knows the truth.
In all honesty I cannot understand how can anyone be so evil towards a small baby....I have 2 children myself and I feel for those parents that lost their baby daughter.
I watched it. Shaken Baby Syndrome has been 'suspect' for many years now and having watched that programme I think that anyone would have to shake a baby more violently than is possible, even if temper is lost. It seems to need quite a prolonged shaking to do the sort of damage they were talking about. I think that they use the 'syndrome' when they can't explain it another way. For sure, having seen that.........how could anyone shake a baby so violently and yet not have to have held the child so tightly that bruising did not occur? I think that this debate will run.......but eventually we will learn that the 'experts' who subscribe to Shaken Baby Syndrome are off the mark.
I was not left with a feeling that the child minder was guilty.........more that she was a victim of circumstance and that the 'system' needed to find a 'culprit' even though there may have be other reasons for the death of that baby.
Obviously I feel for the parents of the baby.........they need some sort of closure and a conviction, potentially, gives them that even if the evidence is not as cut and dried as some would like it to have been.
Yes i watch it, even the top medical staff don`t have the answer so why convicted some one on those grounds,they are now saying it could be from a fall a week before death,so on the those grounds that child minder should be set free,
