The show resumed production on Monday, February 25, 2008 with a return airdate of April 13. ABC has said 7 additional episodes to season 4 will be produced (starting with episode 11). Brenda Strong also stated in an interview that the season will have 7 additional episodes; some storylines were cut altogether and they will take place some time after the storm.

I think the advertising on television, usually the ads appearing on Friday before the Sunday air date, normally identify whether the upcoming episode is "all-new". Frankly, I am a bit in an anti-climactic haze after the tornado ordeal was wrapped up in the series: I doubt if anything still to be aired could top those two episodes. Yes, I am a fan of the show; and, no, I am not a "desperate housewife" myself.
