I also refuse to miss Y&R. The actors/actresses never seem as though they're acting, they all seem so real. There are lots of character we love to hate but honestly I love them all in their various roles because I think they execute them well.
Y&R is my 2nd favorite, GH being my first.

Y&R is also my favorite. It seems to always stay #1 in the ratings too. My second favorite is B&B. I also watch ATWT, but am not as dedicated to that one as i am the first two.

I just can't get a enough of Y&R. I hate when it ends toward the end of the week. And - then the weekend comes and then you have to wait until the following Monday to see Y&R. I do watch OLTL, B&B,GH. And Y&R and G.H are the ones i refuse to miss the most during the week. But - can't get enough of young and the restless the most.
I LOVE it. My Grandma and Grandpa started watching it when it first came on when my Mom was a Baby and they never missed it and my mom and my moms sister (my aunt) grew up on Y&R so now that they have kids they still watch it and me and my brothers were grown up on Y&R and I am 17. My aunt dosent watch it no more and I can not go a day without watching it. I LOVE it so much. My whole family from Grandparents to now Grandkids have watched Y&R and when my brothers and I have kids we will probaly still be watching it. Y&R is the BEST there ever will be we dont even watch any other soaps. well I have started to watch B&B because it is Y&R's sister show. but I have only seen two episodes of it. but other than that Y&R 24/7. Oh and what I think is so cool is that my Mom was born the year and same month Y&R started.

i watch y&r all the time and i never miss it and if i do i call my grandmom and she gives me her tape.. i been watching y&r for a very long time and i only watch that one...
its one of the best. I watch that and Days.
I absolutely love The Young and the Restless, I remember watching it with my great grandma when i was just a little girl, I guess around 5...Ive watched it scence, it never gets boring, its allways great story lines and I love the characters!
....I even love the music when it first comes on...
Sorry but I don't think it's the best. I can miss it and don't really care. Maybe in the 80's I would have agreed but now I don't.
nah, I don't think it's best. I've missed a lot of it and I'm fine, but GH? I never miss that. I don't get why y&r stay #1 in ratings.

Yeah, but they need more interesting upbeat storylines. i.e. I'm tired of Jeffrey and Gloria like yesterday.
OLTL is my favorite soap opera...for now, even though it went out of bounce for a short while. But it still comes back everpresent.
I also watch AMC and GH (I keep promising myself that I'm going to leave Port Charles for good this time, but something brings me back months later). I watched Y&R during the summer but school made me lose track of the current storylines. I'm now watching ATWT because the Luke/Noah supercouple relates to me and b/c Noah's hott as hell.
