The Soup would have had so much material if he would have stayed. Dang it.
I think he is a good singer but he just didn't have good performances. And at this point in the competition that is what it is all about.
Of course it's fair.....America decides....
He's young, adorable, and can really sing. I think he'd find a great audience in the younger set. HOWEVER, he really does lack the experience the older singers have, so his performing is a bit rough/ awkward around the edges. With a bit of work, he'd be great, but right now he's not quite ready for AI. I don't think it would take too much to really polish him up though,. because he seems like he's comfortable performing and hamming it up. I'd be interested to see what he's doing in a few years.
As far as the gay thing goes, I don't think it makes a bit of difference. There've been gay contestants on Idol before and I'd bet there's still at least one on now. It's just part of his quirky personna...I don't think it hurts him at all, and it possibly makes him more interesting.
Well they obviously lost a bunch of viewers, ha. I have the BIGGEST crush on Danny, it's not even funny. lol.
But in all honesty, there was no way FOX was going to let Danny win for the simple fact that he was gay. I'd rather watch him leave now than make it to the very end and not win.
