I think she wants safety and security with Ridge. Nick has made it very clear he wants to be with her, although she gives in to his kisses, she doesn't drop everything and go back to him. Something is stopping her, it must be her feelings for Ridge.
I think she truly wants to marry Ridge, then gradually get him used to the idea that baby Jack will be in her life. in a sense she wants to have her cake and eat it too, but I think she has stronger feelings towards Ridge then Nick.

i think brooke wants nick n dont know how to tell ridge and ridge is such a pain in the a$$ that he does not see it.. i t hink brooke is up to something with the baby that is nick adn taylors...
So she will look commited to Ridge and her fliting with Nick wont be so obvious, also so she can play them both its a way to keep Ridge, because if he married to him, she feels like shes justified in flirting with Nick because if her and Ridge are married then her excuse will then be...well i married Ridge im commited to him...but trust me shes not gonna let Nick out of her sight either, shes already way to involved with him and baby Jack....just wait until Brooke finds out Bridgette is after him again thats when Brooks really gonna mess up and show her feelings for Nick.
