Question: is it true that Portia did something that started all of that with the dogs and stuff, I read that she signed something that she wasn't supposed to sign and the dogs got tooken away from Ellen because of what Portia did, I want to be sure that this is true.

They kind of did something wrong, but not to the dog.
Portia and Ellen adopted the dog from Mutts and Moms, which is a non-profit rescue group that finds good homes for dogs (like a no-kill animal shelter). When they adopted the dog (his name is Iggy), they signed papers saying that they would provide a PERMANENT home for the dog; They would not give it away, sell it, donate it to a lab, etc.
Portia and Ellen spent $3,000 to train the dog and get it accustomed to their cats, and although the dog was loved and well-cared for, the dog and cats never got along.
Ellen then gave the dog to her hairdresser. This was a breach of contract: Ellen and Portia were supposed to call Mutts and Moms to return the dog, paying all legal fees and a fine of $500.00.
Mutts and Moms called Ellen and Portia to check up on the dog (which is common, to make sure the dog is fitting in and there are no problems with health or behavior) and were told that the dog had been given away to the hairdresser.
Mutts and Moms showed up at the hairdresser's home and took back the dog, and fined Ellen and Portia.
The dog has been adopted out to a new home.
