Question: I only started watching it this series, which I belive to be the third? Anyway I can't help but be confused by the offical site. Tom is supposed to be chlo and mika's dad and there his daughters? so why do they call him tom and not dad? I am really confused so could anyone kindly clear this up for me

cause he is there step dad, he married there mum and then she died and now he looks after them.
They call him tom because he is likely to soil his nickers
their Mum died when Tom was dating so now he looks after them.
