Okay I am a huge Degrassi fan, I've seen every episode. They don't actually show them cutting themselves, but you see the effects. Ellie turns her back to the camera when she's doing it, but like the next morning or the next day it shows the cuts. They are not bloody or anything, scabbed up mostly. With Darcy it doesn't show her doing it but it shows her sitting in the shower with blood going down the drain. I'm sure you can handle it.
I agree with you, instead of watching something as gross and infantile as someone cutting themselves, you should be correcting your mistakes. It's "I'm mean because YOU'RE stupid" and its "does" instead of "dose"
