Question: he was shot at the end of season 2... buy a old patients husband. it had come up that the hubbie was cheating on the wife.. and she found out and killed herself.... so the hubbie came and shot House... while he was ion surgery Wilson and Cuddy told the surgeon to give him some experimental drug that took his pain away in his legs.... he hallucinated for the whole episode.. and in the episode you saw he is better...

It's an old episode.
Cuddy and Wilson gave him a shot of something, i cant remember what it is, and it took away the symptoms of his leg pain. but the treatment stops working after a while... this is an older episode.
