GH: Nikolas question?!
Question: ok so this is kind of old but it still bothers me! i could have sworn that Spencers name was John...as a matter of fact its as if he went from John to Spencer literally over night. was there an explaination that I just missed?

Courtney had named her baby John, after Jax's father because jaz was supposively the baby's father. After Robin blurted the paternity Nikolas got his son and changed his namd from John to Spencer, because he didn't want his son to be named after Jax's Dad. It did happen quickly though.
At the time Courtney and everyone thoughtwax was Spencer's father- so Courtney named the baby after jax's dad. Then robin found out about jax not being Spencer's biological father. So she went and told Nicholas the truth about Spencer being his son and not jaxs. After Nicholas regained custody of their son. Nicholas changed the name to spencer because he wanted to bring peace between the cassadine family and the Spencer family. So - he named his first born Spencer. Plus - this was showing his mother that the cassadine feud between the spencers and the cassidines where over. At least between lucky, lulu and himself.
Yes your right. Courtney's baby was named John then Spencer. When Jax lied and told everyone that he was the father he was raising him and named him John after his father. When the truth came out that Nicholas was the real father, John was given to him to raise and Nocholas decided to name him Spencer to honor his brother and sister and bring the family closer.
His name was John named after Jax's father. That was when everyone belived that Jax was the father. But when the truth came out that Nikolas was the father then he changed it to Spencer. And yeah it did happen really fast.
