I agree with you completely. And what's up with the TMK storyline, is that it? They expose the killer and then kill him off right away.
The writers are suffering from brain drain so they can't come up with much original interesting storyline so they just drag what they have at the moment out for as long as possible like what they did with the TMK storyline. They dragged the TMK mystery out for soooo long and then gave us a lame fizzled out ending; very disappointing. Guza sees dead people so that's why we see Allan ghost and Emily ghost; wouldn't surprise me one bit if they add a Diego ghost too.
It will probably be a few months before we see an improvement.
I think it will probably have to wait till summer to see any big improvements. Its sad that the writing is so terrible. I think having Jerry turn out to actually be a good guy would be a great way to redeem him, if they can. I really think that someone (hello chief of staff) should look into why the creepy Dr. Devlin, breezes into town and takes a sudden intense interest in the richest guy in town, (Nic) and the local television celebrity (Sam)? Anyone with half a brain would smell a rat somewhere...
I heard today that they are still showing the scripts (and maybe taping them too for all I know) that the scab writers wrote during the strike. So it could be a while before we get back on track with things. I guess we will have to keep patient or stop watching for a bit.

I agree. You can see them starting to kind of iron out the wrinkles but with how slow daytime moves we'll be waiting awhile for real improvement.
