becuz tom welling doesnt know he's Superman yet so he doesnt have to disguise himself
Yeah he does in the future to disguise himself as a journalist. But when hes younger he doesnt bother. Plus when he was younger he didnt fly around in a cape. With the glasses its harder to tell he is superman.

When he's still young his mental faculties are still in check,,, a little nutty but still ok,,,,when he became a reporter he's a full blown nut,,,That's why he wears his undies on the outside & added a cape later on.
Why does he need a cape that does nothing? & where does he hide his cape when he's a reporter, It's big & bulky,,,,,
