I absolutely love Y&R! Nick's plane crash happened in May of 2007 for us in the USA. I'm not sure about B&B....i think Stephanie getting shot was pretty recent for us too. You could check out the show recaps on www.soapcentral.com....that could help you out.

Young & The Restless
Since I was a kid.
I used to watch all the ABC soaps in the 80's
AMC, Loving, Ryan's hope, GH and ONTL,
I even watched Another world when it was on after school..
But truly , at least 20 years now it's been Days ... all the way.
I watch Young and the Restless and have recently started watching The Bold and the Beautiful. I go to www.soaps.com and I find my fav show to catch up on what I have missed,and spoilers and whos coming and whos going. Its better than Soap Opera Digest, cause its free. They have all the soaps listed on there. Good luck
