On Lost they say its only been like 2 months but all the actors all look 6 years!

Question: How are they explaining that? Does the island have magical aging properties as well as cell phone blocking and ludicrous electricity properties?

No actually the sun has magic aging properties. Thats why 30 year old women who spend all day in the sun for years straight look 60.

Lost is so annoying me, they introduce all these new story lines and they have not concluded one yet. I really hope they conclude at least one of the mysteries.

I

What good would a cell phone be if you didn't have a viable charger or a way of charging the phone? Also, they couldn't tell anyone where they are so what would be the point? Perhaps one cannot get a signal for a cell phone on the island. I don't agree that they all look so much older. My only beef is that in two months Hurley would have lost a lot of weight...they really should have had that actor lose some weight so he could look like he was deserted on an island.

probably because the actors are a few years older than when the show started.

Geena, it's ok if you don't like the show, but it's not ok for you to get on Y/A and blast those of us who do like the show. As a matter of fact it is against Y/A guidelines. Keep this up and you'll get reported! BTW, to answer your question, the island doesn't have magical aging properties, but it apparently does have the ability to shift time dimensions. There is an element of science fiction involved with this show. It is not a reality show. Get over it already!

Thats one of the theories out there, the island could be in some sort of time vaccum. There was one episode where Ben was a child and someone in his crew was in his 30's maybe 40's, well that same guy looked exactly the same even though Ben was an adult.

It is only a minor problem for those who are engrossed in the story. I do agree with Sandra B and the Hurley thing though. If you can't open your mind to the vast possibilities that fiction provides then don't bother watching.
