Anyone else used to be a big Idol fan and now you hate it?!
Question: I used to love American Idol. But anymore it is just too stupid for words. When they passed up Clay i was disappointed but when the choose that worthless Fantasia Barrino I just couldn't take it anymore!

Fantasia and Reuben were the worst....I hated Fantasia. Clay should have beaten Reuben. Each year it gets worse and worse and I almost have to leave the room when Paula starts her crap.
I agree with you about not being a fan anymore. But I think that Rueben and Fantasia were the best choices during those seasons. I hate Clay Atkin! He is such a dork! And Fantasia can sing her fanny off!! But American Idol SUCKS!!!!!! Each season gets worst!
hmm... I'm the opposite. I wasn't a fan until this season when there are clearly top-notch singers.
We'll see how the season unfolds!
It is getting a little repetitive for sure. But the talent seems to be improving this year so watching is still worth the time.
Simon is really a boorish *** and cruel - so he's tough to watch for sure.
I guess I still watch, but do so with less excitement.

The only one I watched all the way through was the very first one with Kelly Clarkson. After that I can't even watch one whole episode. I only see it now when I am with my 7 year old niece, which is not very often. But I did see it last night at the very end! Lame.
I refuse to watch any more of it now that Danny is gone.

Carrie Underwood is my only favorite. The only season I watched was when Taylor HIcks won...what a joke! The show is too time consuming and i'm over it now!
Who are you to call Fantasia worthless? just because you aren't a fan of her music? How judgemental. I'm not a fan of her music either but I am fan of her ability to rise above her environment and poor choices as a teen and make something of herself...she is an inspiration to youg unwed mothers and illiterate people afraid to learn how to read!! Yes Clay is awesome and so is Kelly and yes CLAY GOT ROBBED...but don't ever call someone worthless just because you don't like their music!! How rude!!!
After and amazing season 4 and 5, My faith in AI was rocked by season 6. Sanjaya? Scarnato? I can't even remember 1/2 the top 12's names. I swore as a die hard fan that is they did not show something good his year I was through. And I must agree with the judges, I think there is an impressive amount of talent this year! Bravo for f*cking with my emotions, AI!!!!
