From day one, Joel seemed like a really mean-spirited person with a bad heart and major anger management issues. He was extremely cruel to Chet, and the way he spoke to the others always seemed threatening and crappy, and he ordered them around like they were his servants and talked down to them as if he was God-like or something; I noticed in the way he talking to Cathy, and then another girl.
He reminds me of those mean cops who are on a power-trip and abuse authority, the bullying, arrogant, flag-waving, ignorant kind who walk around with their large strides thinking they are above human...I didn't realize firefighters had their share of those too...
And when he said he wanted to wring their necks, it just solidified the fact that he was a hateful person with major anger issues...dude, it's just a game...get some help.
Good riddance, I'm glad i don't have to see his fugly mug or crappy attitude on my tv anymore
And I noticed that about Erik...I guess they are way into some of the players since they are self-proclaimed "fans" to be on this season...it was a funny moment.
I don't know who Erik is, but I'm watching the show now. And I feel as though everybody on Ozzy's team is sucking up to him and especially James, because they're the "fit" ones. MissMonk, now I know what you're talking about, you probably watched this before I did because of the timezones, they mixed the original tribes. And Joel was mean to Chet. Chet hit himself in the head and Joel said "I don't care." I'm still watching the show. Now I just found out that Joel got booted, WOW!!!!!!!!!
I thought it was funny how Erik acted, he was so excited. I thought it was crappy of Joel to drag Chet around like that. They kept talking about he couldn't even get up, but that was because Joel wouldn't let him. He shouldnt've been allowed to hit his head off those poles and all that. That was just mean!! I was like, um if he'd stop and give him a chance to get up instead of dragging him, they'd probably do alot better.
to tell you the truth i dont know very many of the "fans" names. but it does seem like everyone is sucking up to ozzy. And as far as Joel goes that was like the rudest thing i have ever seen in my life...i cant believe someone would behave that way. I understand that chet is weak but that was no reason to just pull him like that and whap his head....yeah Joel so needed to go

The first thing I thought was this kid's got a major crush on Ozzy. He is starstruck but it is cute the way he seems to idolize him. Maybe after tonights vote he won't feel the same way about him.
I thought Joel was just outright mean to Chet. Something about the way Joel was always making some offhand comment about causing someone's death gave me the creeps. I would bet anything that he is very abusive in all relationships.
