He used to play in a show called Sledge Hammer, many years ago.

you're right he does...i think he's played the same kind of creepy guy in what i recognize him from as he does in amc
I think his biggest role was on Sledgehammer in the late 80's I think. My brother was an extra on the show. He was a policeman always eating donuts in the background.
Sledgehammer went against the Cosby Show at the time. So, if you don't remember it, not surprising. We watched Cosby and taped Sledgehammer, only because of my brother. It was really a kinda stupid show. I think his name is David Rasche. He's had bit parts on other shows, but he was the main character in Sledgehammer.
The actor's name is David Rasche. He was in a comedy called Sledge Hammer in the 80's. He really is Ray Gardner's brother - Ray was Tad's dad, so Robert is Tad's uncle.
I think he played in a sitcom called Nurses in the 80s. It came on after Golden Girls. He was an ex con having to do sommunity service at the hospital mopping floors.
