Torchwood: What did you think of last night's episode on BBC2 - "A Day !

Question: When I saw it on BBC3 last week, I didn't think it was quite as good as previous episodes, but on re-watching last night, I enjoyed it a lot more, and thought it certainly lived up to the high standard of drama set in the current series.

Let's talk about the BBC3 episode next week for the sake of those who don't have digital.

Quite a poignant, sadly topical episode given the tragedies in Bridgend and slightly surprised there was no one asking for it to be pulled focusing as it did on suicidal feelings and 'being dead'.
But that said it did so in a positive way. The message perhaps being death doesn't change things for the better, and you don't miss life till its gone. I'd hope it would help a lot of people in very despondant times.

o you cruel sod but it is sad if people dont have digital by now lol!, but yeah it was quite funny last night, but is jack really in love with gwen? i think so!

I feel torchwood has been a little dull lately because there has not been any real action like there has been in previous episodes.I saw a clip of next weeks episode (no digital)and it does look like it is going to bring back the fun and excitement so can't wait for that,I just hope it keeps it up.

Yes it is sad that I can't get freeview in my area and can't have a sky dish as I live in a flat in a converted house.

I think the Jack/Gwen thing is a bit weird, they weren't that into each other last season. It seems like they're trying to make Jack a little bit more straight, perhaps for the benefit of the female fans.
Anyone who doesn't have BBC3 can watch the next episode on BBC iplayer

It was gd but i can't wait for next weeks episode it looks funny as hell i was going to watch on BBC3 but fell asleep :D:D

I thought it was a boring last night. I'm getting a bit fed up with Torchwood at the moment I would like to see alot more monsters in it. I watch next week episode on BBC3 and thought it was good and the episode after that look good.

it started out very good but recently the storyline is getting too far fetched.will see what the next episode is like before making my mind up.

I watched the next week episode yesterday and it's really good, the monsters are back and they are sneaky!

gives a whole new definition of Mother In Law from hell lol

It was good episode.

Yeah, like you, I watched it last week on BBC3, and found it lacking, though overall, it's difficult to explain why. I think Owen's reactions to being dead were genuine and heartbreaking. And his rediscovery of a role as the dead man walking too had a certain panache to it - "literally too cool for school".

Even on re-watching though, the whole reason behind the mission seems a little too contrived to specifically do the job of bringing him to a rational place about his death. For me it will probably remain one of the more forgettable episodes of either season, though I think there were plenty more forgettable ones in season 1. Didn't catch the BBC3 episode last night, and my web connection's painfully slow today, but hope to catch it before next Wednesday, cos it looked like terrific fun ;o)

i liked it, Owen's always been really arrogant and a bit of a sod but i like it when we get to know the characters a little better but i think there wasn't enough aliens in that one i like a little bit of gore:).
as for next weeks episode WOW loved it my favourite episode so far!

i liked how it made me realise how many things we take for granted by just being alive but it seemed to lack something. maybe it wasn't si.fi enough but saying that when it comes out on DVD I'll be at the front of the cue.
