What your views on hollyoaks?..tv show?!
Question: i really like it but i think the recent storyline of the brother and sister having a relationship is disgusting, its like there telling kids that this is ok, imagine all those kids being abused, it really sends out the wrong message, what do u think

I don't watch it because a) I don't have a TV (and it's brilliant!!) and b) no one on that show can act.

It's how they justify not glamorising it....
I dont have a TV but if i did, i would rather poke out my eyes with a blunt rusty fork than watch that rubbish!
i agree i love holly oaks but everytime there is a scene with reece and beth i cringe its not right as soon as they fond out it should have stopped there
It's sometimes great and other times a storyline goes on for far too long. All the soaps are just shown too many nights now, detracts from the drama and storyline. I think they would all be a lot more 'gripping' if they were only on a maximum of twice a week. Plus all the TV magazines give away the plots anyway so there is no suprise element anyway. It's sad but true.
i dont agree with that story line, i like the idea that it deals with issues that young ppl are going thru such as young amy and leah but i hate the way they all sleep with one another so easily, and the parents arent really realistic
i love the show but get a little creeped out at that storyline. its gonna get better in the next few weeks when Jake goes even more psycho than he already is!!!
I love hollyoaks, you have to take into account that when rhys and beth first met and were going out they had no idea that their father was the same person, remember rhys didn't even no that his "uncle" was his biological father. like they say you can't just fall out of love with a person straight away. but it will end badly for her family, his family and poor gilly. and mercedes if you want to count her.
Its got fit women in it!!! But hollyoaks is always a show to debate and hilight problems and issues in life...gay,rape,drugs,under age pregnancy etc
This is obviously another issue they are highlighting,people might be disgusted etc but the truth is,it happens! And if people know about it and wake up to it then they know how to deal or help solve these issues. Just look at every episode,and advice line or website if offered for people suffering with any problems hilighted in the show

I absolutely love it. The Rhy/Beth storyline is kind of disturbing, but the show has greatly improved! I think that some of the actors/actresses aren't that great at acting, but the majority of them are.
seen a couple of episodes recently-mostly for the hunky guys!! ham acting,dodgy plotlines,and my sister visits Chester occasionally,and not many of the "scenes" are remotely related to Chester itself;she says a LOT more of the outside stuff should be on location-promoting Chester,instead of trading off its reputation as a tourist place......
hollyoaks is so bad its good. one of the programmes you hate to miss but are mortified to admit you watch!!!! but one thing i liked about it before was that storylines werent dragged out for too long but that boring, creepy reese and beth one has been going on with no change or development for ages! come on mercedes, bust them already! then they can be chased out with sticks and flaming torches!!!! they are both really irritating characters anyway!!!! sorry for the rambling rant!!!!! just realised how badly i spelt rhys!!!! is that right? how thick am i??
They do display that incest is wrong, besides, from what i hear it's going to come out that they aren't actually related.

As for the sis/bro storyline, it is just a storyline and I think children that are not mature enough to understand this should not be watching it.

I think its the Best soap on tv at the mo and I agree with you bout Beth and Rhys! I think its kinda repulsive that they are still at it when they know that they are bro and sis!!!

You would have freaked, lol. They were full brother and sister and had been brought up together and wanted to be in a proper relationship and Nat made Georgia pregnant and went mad when she had an abortion.
Hollyoaks is written by the same producer, but my fave part of Hollyoaks is drooling over Warren =D
