I think they should get rid of Paula and Randy. Simon is the only one willing to be completely honest with the contestants. He may not be a singer, but he knows talent when he hears it. Yes he can be brutal, but that is what the people need, not someone who says, "Oh that was not too bad." when they know that it was just as awful as Simon said it was!
I think it would be cool if they had a non-showbiz person as a judge. Just some average Joe or Jill like you and me. We know talent when we hear it, right? So why not have a person not in showbiz be one of the judges!?!?
I think they are trying to be politically correct in choosing the 3 judges. They all 3 have extensive knowledge of the music field. We have a black man, a white man, and a mixed woman. They are striving for that diversity. Actually if Madonna wasn't so busy with her personal life, she would probably be a good judge.

She seems to be getting more delusional with every show. Even Ryan seemed irked with her last night near the end of the show when he made the comment about how the show was about the contestants. A good replacement? Hmmm...how about Olivia Newton John?

leave paula alone, she's old school, if you are going to replace her do it with someone who is old school, and not madonna. a producer like quincy jones he's great ( if he's still alive.) or maybe a world renowned voice coach. or something. but paula is there to soften the blow for the singers. she is a positive between two negatives. I know she is on pain meds for her back but its possible she could be suffering from some type of disorder too.
I personally think they all make great judges. They all have their own views I think Paula doesn't want to hurt anyone feelings. Randy is cool he knows talent. Simon can be cruel at times...so they all bring something to the table. I grew up watching her and she is a great performer and she has worked with some great entertainers. So look at what she does know...she'll tell you how it is if they don't perform right..But perhaps she gets nervous speaking...
nope i like that they have a positive judge...especially to some of the very young kids on the show....i don't think its necessary to trash them just because they weren't the best of the best of the night ....but, thats what make AI i guess....
