Danny Noriega - I can't believe it!?!

Question: Danny has been my #2 favorite on American Idol. I saw his Christmas video on tmz.com, and he just doesn't look so cute anymore. I'm really disappointed. What does everyone else think? Am I just over-reacting? I don't think someone who would say those things should be a role model.... he stepped over the line.

i'm not really surprised, this kid is a teenager, that's what emo teens do
but i understand that you are upset, i ended up not liking him at all after that video
although it was said that they weren't gonna kick him off idol or anything

its American idol, not American role model. Its about the best singer, not the best person.

This comment is from his teacher :
As a teacher who works with kids from Danny's alma mater, I actually proud to see how far this young man has come. Danny is secure in his sexuality, he's secure in who he is and he is focused on his career in music. The mySpace rant comes from a young man who is angry at the world. The guy I see on Idol isn't the same kid. We should be thankful for his growth! Keep in singin' Danny! You make Azusa proud! Go Sierra!!!!!

And this is from realistic person :
No one would care if this was a kid down the block. Only because of his fame is this so "shocking." Kids talk like this all the time, he isn't being "unbelievable." Maybe it was meant to be humorously sassy, in which case he doesn't literally hope Santa Claus would "rape your mother." He isn't being "salacious", "disturbing", or "vile" either because, again, this is not a surprise coming from an American teenager. TMZ is just looking for anything to create controversy in the entertainment world.
On a personal note, I frankly wouldn't care even if he literally meant that he thinks everyone is a piece of s**t. This his personal opinion and his own business. He has that freedom of speech. Danny Noriega is a good singer and that is what the point of American Idol is. His past personal life shouldn't be used to taint his talent.

I'm absolutely agree with Angela

Just don't be too naive, Nobody's perfect, i bet you can't hate him when you see him in American Idol, he's different now ! Danny is just a human, not an angel, be realistic..
