Question about finale of Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles (with the end)?!
Question: What was with John opening that final thing on the harddrive at the end and some guys face is there, and it has something to do with the guy that Derek killed in the alley? I'm confused about that, also, if Derek saw his brother and himself playing baseball, his brother (John's dad) was like 5 years old. How would John be born if his dad is 5 years old in 2007? Wouldnt his dad have to be at least born in the 1960s or even 1950s in order for john to be 15 years old in the year 1997? Did his dad just go back in time and marry sarah connor and have john as a son or what?

They thought the guy Derek killed was the one who had stolen the Turk. It turns out he was just a flunky, the other guy was the one they were looking for.
In the first movie, in the year 2027, Kyle Reese was sent back to the year 1984 to protect Sarah Connor. Skynet had sent a terminator to kill her before her son was born, which would destroy the human resistance before it even started. Kyle met Sarah, they spent one night together, and he was killed by the terminator the next day. Sarah, pregnant with John, went on the run. So John was born in 1984, while his father wasn't born until 2002.
The man Derek killed in the alley is not who they thought it was. The man they thought they killed is the one who blew up the car with Cameron in at the end.
And yes, his dad did go back in time and met Sarah Connor and conceived John. It actually happened in the first Terminator movie.
