yeah...hated Hartley Hare...even at a young age I could see he was an annoying know-it-all character...but loved the programme.

I remember the first series because the actor who played Mr Pipkin died and they worked into the series.
When someone says "it's time" I still see the flashing clocks in my mind's eye.
