Question about Terminator Sarah Connor Chronicles?!
Question: I just finished watching the season finale of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (aired 3/3/08) and i was wondering: does anyone have any idea whether or not Cameron survived the car bomb at the end? if you have any ideas, please let me know. thanks!

Think back to how hard it was to kill the Terminators in the movies. Certainly a little car bomb shouldn't be enough to do the job.
My greatest concern is the possibility--and this is only speculation on my part--that Summer Glau won't be back as Cameron. It would be an easy exit point for the actress if the Terminator rebuilds with a new face. I think Summer has done a great job, so I sincerely hope she hasn't quit or been replaced!!!
Well you have to figure -- she's not going to be killed off, could be but unlikely. I think she will be a series regular for awhile. Looks like they are going to establish John possibly falling for her romantically. It's called a cliffhanger, they do that in season finales.
Edit: well he is attracted to her, she's not human but you know how that whole thing works right? LOL. Cute boy sees pretty girl, cute boy likes pretty girl. Oddly enough, I actually like that element of the show....
No one is going to know for certain, the writers wanted to create a cliffhanger if there is a second season, but in my opinion, I would say that her endoskeleton thing may have been destroyed, but the drive in her head is fine and John, Sarah, and Derek will use it to find the guy who blew up the car, Sar-???
I think that there will be another episode next monday let me know if yall have anything about that but it won't make sence is that is the "season finale" or "cliffhanger" lol i think there will be more...
We've seen terminators burned up in vehicles before. Do you really think that little explosion is going to hurt Cameron much? She might have some burns, but she'll, dare I say it,
"be back."

She'll be fine. She's stated that she has a combat chassis, and they needed thermite to destroy the endoskeleton of the T-888. She said they can withstand temperatures of up to about 2500 degrees. No way a simple car bomb will get that hot that fast - she can easily get out of the burning vehicle. The biggest concern is that all of her flesh will be burned off, leaving only her robotic skeleton. They'll have to figure out how to get her new skin and restore her human appearance. Meanwhile, it would have been cool to watch the guy walking away, satisfied at blowing her up, then turning and seeing the robotic chassis get out of the car and come after him.
Cameron probably did survive the bomb at the end. Her endoskeleton wouldn't be burned by just a car bomb. All her flesh would have probably burned all off, leaving only her endoskeleton. She would have to make new flesh for herself, like the other guy. Probably taking the appearance of another teenager girl in the show.
