Answers: Paige left like 2 yrs ago and I want to know why. Also, she's coming back now and I want to know why!!!

Paige Davis left Trading Spaces because she was fired.

She had originally asked for 3 months off in order to do a show on Broadway, (I think for Beauty and the Beast, but not sure).
The producers responded by telling her she was fired. She reportedly was devastated by this.
She is back because they realize that the show is BORING without her and asked her to return. She happily agreed and we get to reap the benefits of her joyful personality being back on the show.

I think Paige ROCKS !

didn't she get pregnant? maybe she wanted time off for her family

She was asked to leave by TLC.
There were rumors that she gained too much weight, but I don't believe that one.
I am not 100% certain.
But I know TLC wanted to go with a hostless format.
Well, that didn't go too well.
It's all about the ratings game.
People watched it for her humor.
2 Years later, TLC called her and asked her to come back.
And so she did because the show is more dynamic.
They are not just bringing in neighbors.
They are bringing in people with differences and issues with each other to try to help them.
She liked the format and also liked the fact that it could essentially help people.
And the rest is history.

The people that used to run TLC gave her the boot and then the show really started to suck without her. The new people who are running TLC invited her to come back because they wanted to make the show as good as it used to be.

She left to perform on Broadway, then had a baby, took some time off and is back now.

Trading Spaces

In 2001, Davis became the host of the TLC cable-TV network's redecorating television series Trading Spaces, replacing Alex McLeod. Also that year, following her divorce from Benson, Davis married actor Patrick Page, with whom she appeared in Beauty and the Beast. Davis and Paige's wedding was featured on the TLC series A Wedding Story.

TLC dropped Davis in January 2005 to revamp the show with a host-less format. There was some media speculation that TLC's decision was in part motivated by Davis' appearance in TV Guide "wearing nothing but wallpaper" and her performance of a faux striptease in a "Broadway Bares/Equity Fights AIDS" charity event.

The New York Post had reported in its "Page 6" column that Davis exposed her thong and permitted onlookers to touch her body. Davis responded to the story on the TLC message boards, writing that she had been dressed "...in a very modest, almost demure, yellow dress, cut to my sternum." She acknowledged that she had "flip[ped] [her] skirt for a second” and said that she "kept all of [her] clothes on at all times." She went on to characterize the article as "rumor and exaggeration" in its description of the event. The Post responded after Star magazine published three pictures of the event in their July 2, 2004, issue, noting that the photos showed Davis in poses that appeared to confirm the Post's version of the story. However, both Davis and the network insisted there was no connection between the controversies and the format change, which the network described as a decision to take the show "in a new creative direction." Davis subsequently signed a multi-year agreement with television syndication company King World Productions/CBS to develop new scripted and reality programming, including a deal to co-star in a daytime television program with interior designer Nate Berkus, but nothing came to air.

TLC announced in November 2007 that Davis would return as host of Trading Spaces in January 2008, along with others formerly associated with the program. Reports on the announcement published in the New York Post and in Davis' hometown paper the Philadelphia Inquirer remarked on the earlier "bad press" in 2005, with the Post commenting, "Apparently, that 'new creative direction' has done an about-face," and the Inquirer quoting a network vice president who "doesn't know the specifics behind the perky Davis' firing, but called it 'shortsightedness.

At the time she left, she KNEW she was soooooo HOT that she was like thinking, o0O ( Im so hot, I can get my own movie made by a famous director)..
She slept with a couple of people, but in the end.. it just didn't work out.
she finally realized...( IM PAIGE DAVIS MAN... i better go back to the only people that can STAND ME for more than 30 minutes..)
