GH: Was anyone else disappointed about the way Patrick found out about the baby?!

Question: Don't get me wrong.. I'm glad we are not going to have a long, drawn-out, paternity reveal. But, don't you think it would have been more interesting, given their history, if Carly somehow found out about Robin's secret and then told Patrick. I mean, Robin revealed Carly's paternity secrets twice already. And I never thought Robin was wrong to reveal Carly's secret, b/c a father has a right to know. But, still, wouldn't that have been poetic justice, if after all these years, Carly got to gloat that Robin ended up doing the same thing as she did and then reveleaed her secret the same way. I think that would have been so much fun to watch. Robin would have had it coming, afer being so self-rightous all these years for doing the right thing. It would have been nice to see her try to defend herself when she was doing the wrong thing, especially defending herself to Carly. I think the writers really missed a good opportunity for some genuinely good entertainment. What do u think?

girl i was telling a friend of mine the same thing on friday. i thought robin was wrong to reveal carly's secrets cuz it wasnt her secret to reveal. i so wanted carly to find out 1st and spill the beans in the most public and embarrassing way, jus as robin had done to her. it would have been poetic justice. i thought robin was wrong to reveal carly's secrets cuz it wasnt her secret to reveal. robin has been a self righteous busy body to carly for 13 yrs and she turns out to be no better. i wonder how it would have turned if the writers did it the way we wanted. would robin humble herself, appologise and stop being so judgemental and annoying.

I thought they would do that , I mean Robin can't keep anyone else's paternity secrets... but she seemed pretty damn good at her own. I thought Carly would find out a fly to tell Patrick

Yes, it sucked..Robin and Patrick had way too much history for it to be played out like that. I love Robin and she should have owned up to it. Especially since she blabbed about everyone else baby daddies. I was hoping for one of those tear jerker moments where Patrick would have held her and said he loved her and that having a baby is really what he wanted all along...

I am glad robin finally told Patrick about the baby. It was best that she told him about the baby first - then having someone else go blabbing it on her. She finally took responsibility for her actions today - by telling Patrick first about the baby. Then having it come out from someone else. It took a big person to finally - take responsibility for her actions and that is what she did. And - i was proud of her when she did tell Patrick the truth. But - you see why she didn't want to tell him in the first place. He is acting like a jerk - now.

I'm just glad he knows.... there are too many paternity secrets in PC as it is!!!

No but disappointed by the way it ended

I'm just glad Patrick finally found out. I think if given the chance he'd be a good father.

I kind of was a disappointment. They had Robin keep it a secret for a while (well in soap opera time it was a while) and then it just gets blurted out during another one of their repetitive arguments. I think they should have kept it a secret then revealed it after the child was born. Kind of like Jason and Jake.
