So If she goes those two would probably going with her.
And I think its fair, She had the contract when she was 15 tht was like what about 5 years ago?

I highly doubt Carly will win...She is good but with the fact of her having already having a shot at a recording deal will not get her the big prize. I think she'll be on for the better part of the show and get kudos like Melinda Dolitttle did...They praised her everytime she sang except for 1 or 2 times they were "mean" she didn't win did she ? Carly will get a boost with a recording deal out of this like Katherine McVee
Carly will probably win. Just about everyone this season has had a prior music industry experience (record deal, etc).
That David Archuletta kid had a CD out too. But his website 'mysteriously' disappeared when he made it to the AI finals.
I don't think it should matter. it's not like she got famous off her contract at all and she's not in it anyway. Obviously there's no rule against it or they would've disqualified her from the show. And the record label was probably independent anyway.
If picking contestants on IDOL were based on none of them having any prior singing or performing experience, it wouldn't make much sense to hold auditions or even have a show. The whole concept of someone who goes from singing in the shower to a stadium in front of thousands of people ONLY happens in the movies. If you disqualify Carly on the basis of her past experience, that means about half the cast has to go. And that includes Michael Johns (already in a band), David Cook (the same thing), David Archuleta (STAR SEARCH contestant), Luke Menard (sings in an a cappella group)...should I keep going?
Get over it...she's really good.
