A Wooden Dolly on `Cory`???!
Question: When some relocation travel show airhead made the remark about someone being `as wooden as an actor on `Coronation Street` I howled with laughter.
She like most of the other women on British television descend to the most colossal level of dumbing down.
Even the morning chat show hostesses wear 18thc corsets under their blouses and the blouses are cut so low you can`t miss the corsets.
I`d probably lose my job but I wouldn`t wear that crap.
When you get a serious (however pedantic) newscaster like Eleanor Goodman, she soon fades from view. She was a plain Jane; a no-nonsense lady with little humour, a rabbiting delivery and hard facts. She could give it as good as Jon Snow, and, despite my absolute hatred of his hatred of Israel and Israeli`s survival as a nation, I admit he is supremely intelligent and superbly talented.
Unfortunately like most things in life we have to look back and not ahead for any real sense of things.
So what`s going on? Cor! Blimey! Beats me
