How did Amanda not get voted off American Idol on Thursday?!
Question: Seriously, she's cool as a rocker, but she was very exposed last week when she showed that when a song requires you to sing a nice little melody she cannot do it. I like her; she seems like a really cool and nice person, but let's be honest...she can't really sing that well.

She can sing in a rocker way. And also VFTW is voting for her. But there is definteltly worse people than her. Cough*Kristy*Cough
She can sing, man. Her voice is unique, like smoky, husky kind of Tina Turner. But, each week, I get tired of her same performance. I like to see other side of her sometimes.
She can sing well when she picks a song that fits her. And why wasn't she eliminated? Like a friend of mine said: you dont f*** with GREASE and you don't f***-up on Olivia Newton-John. That's a favorite song for a lot of people, so you shouldn't even try it if you can't get it exactly right or better.
I really thought she was going to be voted off. Actually, she was one of the three I picked to be voted off and she just lucked out this time. Hope she took Simon's advice to choose a better song and work on her looks.

Yeah Mandy is MORE suited as a rocker girl not melody girl. Her recent performance sucked but hopefully she and the other girls will ROCK IT OUT NEXT WEEK!!
I absolutely agree with you! Amanda's songs all sound the same. Alexandrea should have stayed. She made her songs sound different and did them her own way. All amanda ever does is scream and when there is a ballad that has to be done she is very pitchy and cant hold a tune! I cant wait for her to be off!!!
