......NO.... there was "Seinfeld"......but now "Family Guy" is the comedic standard of excellence....the creator is a comic genius......I have every Seinfeld in triplicate....and have seen every episode 10 times....it's not just the script, but the delevery,content,characters and relationship to current world events....I also watch "King of Queens"....."Yes Dear"........George Lopez's show......."King of the Hill"......"Everybody Loves Raymond"......."Just Shoot Me"........"Home Improvement" w/ Tim Allen......but look forward to the "Family Guy" marathons (two hours) on WTBS week nights.....even though they too, are reruns.....I usually laugh out loud....here's one of the funniest quotes of all time....by family guy , coming home drunk......speaking to his wife......"I'm glad to see you...the last three houses have been very rude!".......
American Dad.. since the same writers and producers??
Although that's also the same braintrust that brought up The Winner and we all know how great that show was *gag*
