they prob. trying to get people to relate, most husbands hate their wifes mother, but this is a show where the man hates his mother, so its relation for the unrelated in a way... just pitching ideas

There is nothing wrong with the show,why wouldn't you say something like them coming up with new shows or why Maria wear the same type jacket just different colors? ELR is better then Steinfeld...Blessings Yahoo
Its funny because its making a farce out of the real life drama between in laws and family that live close togeather. It's funny! I crack up every time I watch it. Well, nearly everytime.
