Lost fans--Do you think that desmonds time shifts have some connection to the el!
Question: More specifically light, water and electricity. One of his shifts happened in the helicopter when Frank flew it into the thunderhead. Then again when the Dr. flashed a flashlight in his eyes. A couple of times in the rain and also a couple of times while he was touching running water in a sink. Do you think there is a connection? or am I just crazy? (I know the 2 don't have to be mutually exclusive--so no jokes please! lol)

I would have to agree with you on that and i think it all goes way back to when desmond was exposed to the electromagnetic field when the hatch exploded (your electricity). I think that this whole time, he wasn't having visions but actually experiencing time shifts. Back then he was just experiencing the two different times (deja vu) instead of actually living it - which is what the electricity from the electric storm did to him. also in the past he experienced his deja vu because of the elements (as in i just watched S3E8 where they showed desmonds flash backs and when it started raining, he got these flashes of the hatch). Great catch - i definitely didn't see the elements connection.
