Question: he took sayid's gun and then sort of dissapeared along with the rest of the crew? could it have been him? some are saying its micheal but the helicopter guy seemed eager to help sayid, why? if he was with the freighter crew? did anyone see any clues to who it may be?

I think Frank is helping too but they confirmed Michael some time ago, showing some photos from on the freighter from the shoot, etc.
I think that's an excellent theory. I hadn't thought about that til you mentioned it.
I also think thats a good theroy. If you remember when Frank was talking to Juliet he told her she wasn't in the crash, because he read the manifest. But why wasn't he surprised that there were "others" already on the island besides the plane crash victims. Or could it be that Ben's "man on the boat" is Sayid. With all this time travel stuff could Ben have known Sayid would make it back to the boat and eventually work for him. Hmmm....
Good theory. I have been thinking it's Michael too but who knows. It could be somebody we haven't even seen yet or one of the crew members they only showed very briefly last night. I am confused about the whole time travel thing with Desmond as well.
