American Idol fans... who thinks Alexandrea got snubbed last night?!
Question: I think either Amanda or Kady should have gone home instead of her, and I would put Alexandrea in the top 5 girls this year. That really ticked me off last night seeing her get voted off the show. I'm not sure what people are thinking, but the worst girl did NOT go home last night.

I was kind of shocked by her departure too. I didn't think she was one of the best (like Brooke and Carly), but I didn't think she was one of the worst. I thought for sure Kady would leave and though I've loved Amanda in the audition rounds, I would've sent her home last night because her performance was a bit of a trainwreck. Both of them better bring it next week, though; not only to stay in, but to prove they were worth saving while better singers like Alexandrea and Alaina went home. Anyway, though, it is tough at this stage because some people were really amazing in the past, but kind of faltered recently, like Amanda and Michael. And others like David H and Chikezie (who I wanted to send home last), who weren't too great earlier on, showed a lot of improvement this week. So, it's like, do you send home someone who was good all along and just had a bad night, but still has great potential, or someone who just did a fair performance, but wasn't much before and might not have much else to bring? It's tough, and unfortunately, it's not really fair either way. I did really like Alexandrea, though. I loved her performance last week. I did think she fell a little short this week, though, but still not as much as others, who may or may not have been better last week. But these things are unpredictable, so the only way the contestants have a surefire chance to be safe is to bring their A-Game EVERY week. It's all about consistancy. And if Amanda and Kady want to stay in the competition, they need to really up the ante this week, as does everyone else, because at this stage, no one's really safe.
PS For those who wonder, her name is pronounced
"Alex-Ahn-DRAY-uh" (like Andre with an "a" at the end). It should probably be spelled AlexAndrea, to avoid confusion, so she won't have to keep correcting people like Ryan who call her "Alex-ANN-dree-uh". But it's still a beautiful name for a beautiful girl and I wish her (and all of the booted contestants) all the best.

I think people realized that Kady and Amanda both had a bad night and that they are really better singers than this weeks program. It's rough when any of them go home, but it has to be someone, and it's usually a popularity contest anyway, not a singing competition. Chris Daughtry got vote off and his album sold over 3 million copies...go figure!
She got what she deserved. She thought she was all that, and the American public could see right through it. Therefore BYE BYE
I was little disappointed last night . I do not know but for me Amanda overmyer has to go now because of her voice , she can sing only hard rock kind a song.
I agree with Almas M geez i hate myer or whatever her name is i been hoping her to get voted since last week ,her voice are all the same sorry but she looks like a witch to me...she needs to go home..
I thought one of the girls off was right,but the wrong blonde got the boot- but you could see the blonde who should have gone knew it too. I agreed with the guys who left-based just on this weeks preformances
I agree. She definitely didn't do her best, but the other two were even worse than she was. And Amanda has always been horrible.
The worse guy didn't go home either in my opinion. The one that deserved to was the little punk who was being an a** to Simon and telling Simon what the rules were (even though Simon helped write the rules).

I personally didnt like Alexandrea...I thought she had a bad attitude....like she thought she was better than anyone else....I would have prefered it if Amanda went but the attitude I saw from Alexandrea turned me off the most about her....she did sing fairly well but I cant stand people with an attitude like she had.....I do think that Kady should have gone home and not Alaina....that was a BAD choice....even Kady knew it....Alaina wasnt my favorite either because she resembled Carrie Underwood so much but she sings much better than Kady....I do think that Alexandrea giving David A a hug last night was super sweet...props for that and good luck to her

I didn't like Alexandrea so I'm ok with her leaving. What ticked me off is Robbie being sent home. He's not the best guy but he should have been around at least another week. Chikezie should have gone home.
