Was this week's episode of Lost (The Constant) the best ever?!

yes, this episode is by far the best episode. for the guy who said that nothing changed with the episode - you couldn't be more off. we now know that desmond has been time bouncing this whole time and not having visions since the hatch blew up (watch S3E8, you'll know what i'm talking about). this also shows how important it is that desmond locked up the electro magnetic field thing when he did. if he didn't the whole world would be exposed to what the island is and everyone would be dead. also we learn in this episode that mr. whitmore has some interest in the hanso foundation when he bought that painting (could he be part of it). And there has been official contact with the outside world - with penny - letting them know that they are indeed on the island. And that moment that penny and desmond had was quite possibly one of the best in television history. there is so much more to this episode, i can't even get to the rest.
this show is so not for people who want instant gratification. it's fantastic and genius!
The best ever?? I completely disagree sorry to say. I want to know what's happening ON THE ISLAND, not on some boat forty miles offshore. While the episode was cool with the whole time lapse thing, we really didn't learn anything. All in all, the whole episode changed nothing. They left, Desmond had an episode, now he's back to normal. Nothing changed really. Next week's should be very good from the previews though. Can't wait!!
I loved it. I was so happy to be happy for someone. I also felt as if there is now some purpose in the visions/time travel concept and that Faraday will figure it out. Maybe it was just because I didn't have to see Jack and Kate so much but really I think it was just seeing Desmond and Penny finally connect, it somehow felt like everything can move forward now (if that makes sense).
I sort of thought after the episode, which episode topped that one?
