Project Runway - A disappointing final three?!
Question: I am sure I am not the only one who is saddened by Chris losing out to Rami.
How much more innovative can one be??? Chris' use of human hair extentions as fur trim is BRILLIANT!!! I'd totally wear his black jacket, and I'd tell everyone who asked what the trim was made of.
Did anyone stop to think about the marketing potential of his idea? I am sure, there are plenty of women that are opposed to wearing fur, but like the look.
What the hell were they thinking???

seems to go against what they have wanted all season, innovation and creativity, something different.

Chris was my favorite all the way thru. I hate the final 3. Think Rami winning over Chris is a complete joke. I figured Christian and Jillian would make it to finals...Don't like either but their collections have all been pretty good.
I am sick of Jillian's coats!! I mean come on....first thing she showed to Tim...what originality Jillian! Isn't that like the 3rd or 4th coat she has made?
Bout as bad as Rami's draping.
I think if Chris would have done what Tim said and not cover all his collection in hair ....he would have beat Rami. He had a lot of nice pieces in his collection.
Sad to see him go.
I was so mad when Rami beat Chris. I mean seriously, even though Rami didn't do much draping his collection still sucked. Chris is definitely way more creative than him. If Rami wins at Bryant Park I will be so angry. Or if Jillian wins I will be angry too. Hers jackets were awesome at first but she has definitely wore them out. I'm really counting on Christian to beat both of them.
I missed this episode, so I'm clueless to which pieces they brought forward for the judges to chose from.
I've seen their runway collections on line.
It would have been nice to see Chris win, and it surprises me that Rami stepped out of the box with everything being draped.
In my opinion, I think Jillian should win.
But in reality, I think Rami will win as this years designer.
One thing for sure........I won't be having any of Christians' Little Boy Fauntleroy collection hanging in my closet.
I thought Chris' collection was very innovative and creative...but I believe the human hair did him in. Maybe if he had used faux fur instead. I thought it was gross, and I doubt many people would want to wear it, even though the outfit looked good...once people found out what it was made of....gross! (just my opinion!!)
Honestly, I thought that Chris's designs were amazingly creative. I mean........ yeah.........human hair..........yikes!! But, come on........... how creative was that? It was so dang different. If he wouldnt said that it was human hair, would we have known? Nope! I think that he did go overboard with all the hair pieces. I loved the outfit with the hair collar trimmed and the hair skirt. All the extra hair, just took away from the creativity. Needless to say that Chris is one of the most creative designers of the season. I knew that Rami was going to make it. Although, Chris may be creative, he doesnt know how to tone it down. He is tooooooooooooooo out there, and the judges didnt want to take that risk. Its about the level of taste. Chris's level of taste is kinda out there. Rami's taste is so sophisticated, elegant and professional. But you are so right about the jacket. I would have worn that jacket and skirt because it was so amazingly different. Yeah, it would be kinda weird to wear something like that, but it was very unique. And yeah, I didnt think about the marketablility of that garmet. There are alot of people that are against wearing fur, so that would be a great idea. I mean seriously, who would have thought of that other than Chris? And the safety pins were just OUT OF THIS WORLD! OMG! I didnt even know what those were until he said it. Very disappointing to see him go, but I do think that it all came down to the taste level. We cant forget that.
I just posted a question about this. Im actually happy that Rami won....I have been a fan of Rami's from the beginning. Cris is and amazing deseigner but i just love Rami.
The hair thing was a little scary for me, but Cris is good.
I actually like this show, usually reality tv has little to do with talent, but in this aspect Project Runway requires it. And the filming of the procedures makes good entertainment.
I enjoyed Chris, his talent and wit made the season even more enjoyable.
The sniping between Jillian and Christian reminded me of many hours of working at Macys and the friction between the employees.
I do hope Jillian wins, she's a hot number who has talent!
I had a feeling from the very beginning that Christian,Jillian, and Rami would be the final 3. Their clothes are the most wearable, yet fashionable. I would have LOVED to see Chris make it to fashion week. His designs are so creative and fun. Rami's are predictable, but better on a mass market.
